Turbo tuning is a popular customization option in GTA 5 that can significantly enhance the performance of your vehicle. However, many GTA enthusiasts are still unsure of what turbo tuning is and whether it’s worth investing in.
No worries, we’ll show you the answer in this post.
What is Turbo Tuning?
In GTA 5, turbo tuning refers to the customization option where you can enhance your vehicle’s performance by adding a turbocharger. This modification boosts the speed and acceleration of your car, making it faster and more powerful.
Many players mistakenly believe that turbo tuning is the same as nitrous, which involves pressing a button to boost your car with flames from your exhaust.
Although GTA 5/GTA Online has a similar element to this, it’s called “Rocket Boost” and it’s only available on some specific vehicles.
The turbo tuning, on the other hand, is the upgrade that enhances your vehicle’s acceleration and overall performance. Although it doesn’t change any visual part, its effect is significant.
In GTA 5 and GTA Online, you can upgrade your vehicle with turbo tuning in the Los Santos Customs or Beeker’s Garage, but keep in mind that not all vehicles have this upgrade enabled.
In GTA Online, turbo tuning unlocks at rank 100 or 20 Race Wins. The price of upgrading turbo tuning is different from cars to cars, even from GTA 5 to GTA Online.
