Rockstar Games is finally giving GTA Online players what they’ve been asking for for years: the chance to own fancy homes.
The next DLC update for GTA Online is going to be one of the most exciting additions to the game yet. It will add new high-end properties, lifestyle upgrades, and maybe even new missions that are connected to your fancy estate.
Here’s what we know so far about the release date, leaked information, and what players can expect from this long-awaited update.
While the update’s full details remain unknown, the game files reveal the long-awaited Mansions feature. Rockstar plans to release a small “prologue” DLC before the full expansion launches. This upgrade could happen in just a few weeks.
When is the Mansions DLC Update Coming?
Based on Rockstar’s past release dates, the GTA Online Mansions DLC is likely to come out on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, which is the second Tuesday of December.
Rockstar Games hasn’t said for sure when Update 1.72 will be available, but December 9 is a good bet. As soon as the official release date is set, we’ll update this page.
The 1.72 Title Update will come to GTA Online for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
GTA Online Mansions DLC: Confirmed Locations
Rockstar hid visual clues all over Los Santos, including construction zones at two new mansion development sites:
- Near the Theater in East Vinewood Hills: Has a wide estate footprint and looks out over the casino and skyline.
- Beside Miguel Madrazo’s house: Hidden in the hillside with a view; expected to change the landscape.
Soon, construction materials will start to show up on these sites, just like they did during the 2019 Casino update teaser phase. This will show that work is still going on.
These mansions aren’t simple interior-only additions. The surrounding terrain and hillside structures will likely be reshaped, similar to how Miguel Madrazo’s home is built into the cliffside.

Also, Devon Weston’s mansion, seen prominently in GTA V’s storyline, may become one of the purchasable properties.

I think rockstar should add more cars and trucks and be able to park more than one personal car on the outside of the Mansion
I 1000% agree you bra….we need to show off our expensive supermarket etc.
