Because Rockstar has postponed the release of GTA 6 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, the PC port, which is yet to be announced, may arrive even later.
This had PC fans jumping out their seats since they have to wait longer than the console release. Some even mad about the delay until November 19, 2026.
GTA 6 For PC
Back in GTA 5, the PC port took nearly two years to release. GTA 5 was released on September 17, 2013; the PC port was released on April 14, 2015.
GTA 6 fans who do not own a PS5 or Xbox are now shocked that the console versions have been delayed again to November 19, 2026, with the PC port expected a year later.

This may be difficult to see because November 19, 2026 is still a year away, and PC gamers may have to wait until November 2027 if Rockstar decides to extend the wait for the release of GTA 6 on the PC port.
PC Port of GTA 6 May Come Soon After Official Release
According to our sources, GTA 6 for PC might come sooner than you expected for multiple reasons:
- GTA online makes it rain money.
- 3-6 months gives console players time to rampage through.
- You get PC purchases 2027 before Next gen hits (2027-2028).
- You get more purchases on PS6 when it releases for potential PS5 holdouts.
When you look at it, these reasons are very good and convincing. It could just be rumors for now, but we believe it could come true!

If true, this might be good news to PC players since they don’t have to wait for a full year after GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026.
Our Take:
Rockstar hasn’t given an official release date for the GTA 6 PC port yet, but everything points to it coming out much sooner than fans thought it would.
Insider reports and the studio’s increased efforts indicate that Rockstar is preparing for one of the largest game releases ever. The PC port will undoubtedly increase Rockstar’s profits, so we believe they will seize this opportunity.
